At Liebesgut Tiernahrung, we deliberately opt for a higher meat content and against "fillers" or synthetic attractants. Although this means a higher price, it is also healthier for your cat and closer to a natural diet. Cat food often contains unnecessary amounts of cellulose or other plant-based ingredients, which are cheaper to produce but do not provide cats with optimal nutrition. To make up for this, artificial attractants are then used to make the food more palatable - but all this often leads to intolerances that can manifest themselves in digestive problems or kidney problems. In our organic cat food you will only find muscle meat and offal, offal and meat of inferior quality is not used in our cat food.

Frequently asked questions about organic cat food
What is the best way to store opened organic cat food?
It is important to store the pet food in a dry and cool place. Once opened, the pet food will keep for 2-3 days in a tightly closed tin in the fridge. However, the same applies here as with other foods: always check the consistency and odour !
When you take the cat food out of the fridge, you should leave it at room temperature for half an hour before you feed it, otherwise your cat may refuse to eat it.
What do I need to bear in mind when changing my dog's food?
No matter how good the new food is, cats are creatures of habit. That's why there will probably also be a familiarisation phase with Liebesgut's organic cat food. If your cat has only ever haddry food, you should start by soaking the dry food so that it can get used to the consistency. After that (or if your cat has already had other wet food), you can add more and more Liebesgut cat food with each meal so that your cat gets used to the flavour. And if that doesn't work, you should try one of our other flavours - perhaps the first variety wasn't to your cat's taste.
What is the difference between organic cat food and premium cat food?
At Liebesgut Tiernahrung you will find both organic cat food and premium quality cat food. The only difference is the labelling: everything that is labelled organic is guaranteed to be organic. In premium cat food, we use meat that is not labelled organic. This does not mean that the meat is of poorer quality or less sustainable - for example, we use rabbit meat that we source from sustainable hunting. However, as the rabbits here are not bred according to strict guidelines on an organic farm, but come from the wild, the meat cannot be labelled as organic, even though it is more natural. However, transparency is important to us, which is why we clearly label all ingredients.
