Why Liebesgut pet food?

Why is Liebesgut pet food just right for your four-legged friend? Because you love your pet. And because we make our pet food with lots of love. Hence our name: Liebesgut.

Our Liebesgut pet food is perfectly tailored to the needs of your furball. At Liebesgut, we know the nutritional and psychological needs of dogs and cats inside out. That's why we focus on producing particularly healthy and balanced menus. Your four-legged friend will find exactly what they need in our pet food: succulent pieces of meat, fresh vegetables and healthy herbs. All organic, of course.

Species-appropriate animal husbandry is very important to us. And that's why we produce organic pet food. How did it all start? With an idealistic approach that the entire Liebesgut team supported back then and still does today. We had noticed that people's shopping baskets were being filled with more and more organic products. But that was it. This development had not (yet) happened with pet food. Why not, we asked ourselves? Pets are part of the family! They are our friends and loyal companions. That's why they should only get the best in their bowls.

Reason enough for us to step on the gas and launch real organic food. We at Liebesgut love animals. We're not the only ones. But why are we different? Because our love for animals doesn't stop with pets. We pay just as much attention to our farm animals. What exactly does that mean? Well, for our Liebesgut pet food we only use animals that are kept in a species-appropriate manner. Fattening farms? That makes our hearts turn over. This type of animal origin is out of the question for Liebesgut pet food. We stand for rethinking.

Do you love your pet? Give your dogs and cats only the best from species-appropriate husbandry. Liebesgut. Because love is good for you.

Why our Liebesgut recipes are so valuable

Cats and dogs are carnivores. Do you like meat too? Then you know from your own experience: meat is not just meat on the menu. Your pet also deserves only the best quality meat. And we pay attention to this in our Liebesgut recipes. We meticulously adjust the exact proportion of fresh meat to your pet's needs. Did you know that this percentage differs for dogs and cats? That's why our organic dog food contains at least 70% fresh meat. Our organic cat food contains 93 %. That means plenty of juicy, fresh meat.

Good for love. Because love is good for you.

Why we use carbohydrates and grains in our pet food

Not all grains are the same. There are "good" and "bad" ones. Naturally, we only use "positive grains" for our Liebesgut pet food. Are you wondering what that means exactly? Quite simply: no gluten. Carbohydrates are just as important a source of energy as cereals. Your puppy and junior cat in particular need them for their growth. And that is precisely the reason why carbohydrates are particularly important in our organic food for young animals. Keep your pet fit with good grains and carbohydrates.

Why we stay completely natural with our cat and dog food

Just like you, your pet tastes everything artificial and (rightly) wrinkles its nose. Cats and dogs love their food the way nature provides it. You won 't find any binding agents or artificial additives in our Liebesgut cat and dog food. We only use ingredients of natural origin.

And the recipe may look a little different from the human diet. At Liebesgut, we pay very close attention to natural calcium suppliers. That's why we use carcasses, eggshells and offal for our organic pet food. This gives your pet exactly the vitamins and minerals it needs. It's all natural.
