Natural nutrition for dogs

Healthy nutrition for my dog

Dogs are often fed industrially produced food. If you think that you always have to cook your dog's natural diet yourself, you're wrong. Because with organic wet food, it's easy and convenient, and your dog gets everything he needs. From important vitamins to the necessary minerals, organic wet food ensures a balanced and natural diet for your dog.

Species-appropriate nutrition for four-legged friends - how it works

Healthy food for dogs

If you want to offer your dog healthy food, you should bear one thing in mind - he doesn't need large amounts of grains. Grains such as wheat in particular can lead to food allergies in your four-legged friend in the long term, which can cause gastrointestinal and skin diseases as well as epilepsy. As you can see, a healthy diet for dogs should not only be balanced, but certain things should also be avoided. As dogs tend to get fat, you should definitely avoid sweet and savoury foods. Not only will your dog put on weight, it won't be good for his stomach and intestines either.

Feed your dog a natural diet

Above all, a dog's natural diet should be balanced. You don't have to think about barfing straight away. You can also use organic wet food. Feed your dog fruit and vegetables as well. Many four-legged friends love small fruit and vegetable snacks between meals. A natural diet is not a punishment for your dog. It's a great way to provide variety - because your four-legged friend will also thank you if it doesn't eat the same type of food day in, day out.

A balanced diet for your four-legged friend

You've probably already asked yourself what a natural diet looks like for dogs, right? Don't worry - there are numerous alternatives that don't require you to spend hours in the kitchen cooking. Above all, a natural diet for dogs is balanced and free from industrial additives. Mass-produced cans often contain high traces of potassium and sodium. These two minerals can have a negative effect on your dog's kidneys, which can lead to renal insufficiency. A healthy diet will definitely increase your dog's vitality and zest for life - after all, who doesn't want healthy food in their bowl every day?

Dog nutrition - How do I feed my dog properly?

The big question - how do you feed your dog properly? A dog's natural diet is an important criterion here. Organic wet food can also be supplemented with fruit, vegetables or skimmed curd, for example. Above all, make sure that your dog can eat in peace so that it is not disturbed. Natural nutrition alone is not enough for dogs, it's also about the whole thing. It is therefore important that your dog is not disturbed while eating - by other dogs, cats or children. Allow him this time in which he can eat his meal in peace and without stress.

How often should I feed my dog?

Opinions differ here. Dogs can be fed several times a day or just once. Above all, you should follow your dog's individuality. In any case, puppies should be fed three times a day. Adult four-legged friends can get by with two portions. Dogs are often only fed once. Important - if you feed your dog twice a day, you should give it smaller portions. Many dog owners tend not to divide the two portions, which is why the dog gains more and more weight.

Can I feed my dog fruit and vegetables?

A dog's natural diet does not mean that you should feed him large quantities of fruit and vegetables. Of course he can top up his vitamin and mineral levels with fruit and vegetables. However, you should also bear in mind that your four-legged friend digests fruit and vegetables differently and more slowly. You can help him digest them by cutting fruit and vegetables into small pieces, pureeing them and cooking them briefly. Together with organic wet food, your dog's healthy diet will be perfect.

Feeding dogs a vegetarian or vegan diet: Is it healthy?

Even if you have decided in favour of vegan or vegetarian cuisine, you should refrain from doing so for your dog. Vets and dog organisations also advise against a purely vegan or vegetarian diet. A healthy diet for dogs should be balanced, and unfortunately you can't achieve this with a vegan or vegetarian diet alone. A balanced diet for dogs always includes meat and animal products. If you have decided in favour of a vegan or vegetarian diet for your dog, this should only be limited to a short period of time.

Healthy food for dogs - what is important?

A healthy diet for dogs can be very simple if you know how. Follow nature's guidelines, study your four-legged friend's nature a little, and preparing food will be much easier for you. It's best to ensure a good mix of meat, fruit and vegetables. Organic wet food is a good basis for a healthy diet for your dog. Pre-cook the vegetables a little. You can't really go wrong with apples and pears. Season the food a little with herbs and you have a tasty mixture that will not only make your dog happy but also energise him. Good luck.
