Initial puppy equipment: collar or harness?
You naturally want to take your puppy for a walk and have to decide whether to use a collar or a dog harness with lead. A collar does not restrict your dog's freedom of movement. However, large forces act on your dog's neck when you pull on the lead. With a collar, these forces are distributed over a few centimetres and act on sensitive organs such as the windpipe, thyroid gland, larynx and cervical spine. What toys do I need for my puppy's initial equipment?
