Feeding recommendation for cats
A balanced and species-appropriate diet is the basis for a long and healthy life. We are happy to give you a recommendation for the optimal portioning of our Liebesgut BIO menus for cats. Please note that these are guidelines that vary depending on the animal and its stage of life. Our recommendation for Liebesgut BIO wet food:
Junior cat from 2 to 12 months of age
1kg body weight: 40 - 50g of food per day
3kg body weight: 120 - 150g of food per day
5kg body weight: 200 - 250g of food per day
Adult cat from 1 to 7 years of age
3kg body weight: 90 - 120g of food per day
5kg body weight: 150 - 200g of food per day
10kg body weight: 300 - 400g of food per day
Senior cat from the age of 7
3kg body weight: 90 - 120g of food per day
5kg body weight: 150 - 200g of food per day
10kg body weight: 150 - 200g of food per day
The feed must be stored in a cool, dry and frost-free place. Once opened, please store in the refrigerator and consume within three days. As different as cats are, their nutritional requirements are just as individual. You should always pay attention to the animal's BCS (body condition scoring). This always depends on the cat's lifestyle. The more sporty and active the four-legged friend, the more energy it consumes and the more food it needs. You should also always provide your cat with plenty of fresh water.
Because love is good for you.
