Test dog food and cat food from Liebesgut easily and conveniently
At Liebesgut, we are convinced that your furry friend will love our high-quality organic food. And that's why we make it as easy as possible for you to find out for yourself. Try our dog food and cat food without having to pay for it. We at Liebesgut want to make this easier for you: You can test our dog food and cat food without being stuck with the costs. If your pet doesn't like our food or you notice that there are intolerances, you can return unopened food (except BARF) directly to us. You will receive the price back directly to your account or as a voucher for other Liebesgut products as soon as we have received the food, at your discretion and without any questions. Of course, we welcome all feedback and incorporate it into the development of our pet food, but you are under no obligation.
Simply fill in the form. All you have to do is enter the relevant order details so that we know what you want to return to us and how you want to get your money back. We will then get back to you within a short time and you will receive a return label with which you can return the food free of charge. Once we have received the unopened food, we will arrange your refund or issue you with a voucher (the delivery costs of your original order will not be refunded). You do not have to select a reason in the form, but you can of course leave comments.
Our recommendation for testing dog food and cat food
Liebesgut has something for almost every taste. Our dog food Sample Packs and cat food Sample Packs are a good basis for your test. Here you will find various sets with popular Liebesgut products - there are also packages for nutritionally sensitive or young dogs.
We recommend that you initially only give small amounts as an admixture to the usual food. This way, even dogs that are used to it can give the food a chance.
You can proceed as follows:
- As soon as the food arrives, open a packet and give your pet an odour sample.
- Then mix the new food with the usual food. To start with, we recommend replacing a third of the usual amount with Liebesgut food. For example, if you always feed 300 grams, mix 100 grams of Liebesgut food with 200 grams of the usual food to test it.
- Observe your pet throughout the day. You may notice something immediately while eating, but intolerances usually only become apparent a little later. In the meantime, you can seal the food airtight and store it in the fridge.
- If your pet shows no stomach problems and accepts the food well, you can add a little more of the new food the next day. Allow the Liebesgut food to come to room temperature and then mix it with the usual food in a 1:1 ratio.
- Continue to keep a close eye on your furry friend.
- Over the next few days, mix the meals so that the new food takes up an increasingly larger proportion until, after a few days, you are only giving the Liebesgut food.
If your pet eats the food completely after this familiarisation period, this is a sure sign that it tastes good and that you can now switch to animal-friendly food from sustainable production. If you test our dog food or cat food and notice that your pet does not like the food or has intolerances, you can return the unopened food directly to us and get your money back. And even after you have tested the food, you can benefit from our satisfaction guarantee - sometimes it only becomes clear after a few weeks whether your pet really likes the food. However, if you have already ordered larger quantities, you can also return these within 30 days.

Frequently asked questions about the satisfaction guarantee
Do I have to pay shipping costs for the return?
No. The return is free of charge. Please note, however, that you will not be refunded the shipping costs for the original order.
Can I return opened tins or packaging?
No. Unfortunately, you can only return sealed food to us, as the opened food otherwise runs the risk of being infested with mould or bacteria during transport. Please dispose of leftovers in the household waste and the packaging in the yellow bin or yellow bag.
How do I get my money back?
Once your order has been returned, we will either arrange a refund to your original method of payment or you will receive a voucher for other Liebesgut products to the value of the returned items. You can indicate which you prefer in the returns form. This process takes 1-3 working days depending on the payment method.
Do I have to provide proof of why I am returning the food?
No. You simply fill in the form which we can use to allocate your order. We will then contact you about the return shipment.
