What are the differences between normal dog food and sensitive dog food?
All our dog foods are suitable for feeding as a complete food and offer your dog everything it needs for a normal diet. The biggest difference between regular dog food and the Sensitive line is that Sensitive dog food contains ingredients that are generally easier to digest. Regular dog food often has beef as a meat source, which dogs generally find very tasty.
However, some dogs cannot tolerate beef or develop intolerances to other types of meat such as chicken. Sensitive dog food is based on meat and plant-based ingredients, which significantly reduce the chance of digestive problems or allergies.
Of course, the sensitive food from Liebesgut Tiernahrung is just as tasty - but you can be sure that the sensitive dog food is easier to digest.
What is the difference between sustainable ingredients and organic ingredients?
The difference between sustainable ingredients and organic ingredients lies in the definition of "organic". The organic label has certain requirements that can only be met by organic farms.
However, this also excludes game from sustainable hunting from the organic label. Although there are deer from organic farming, we are of the opinion that game from sustainable hunting is both more sustainable and healthier because the animals are able to follow their natural diet.
However, it is not possible to control what these animals eat and it cannot be guaranteed that these animals only eat organic food. However, you can be sure that we only use sustainable sources.
How do I store sensitive dog food?
Our sensitive dog food has no special storage conditions. BARF menus should of course remain frozen until you feed them.
You can store the wet food in a cool, dry place. As soon as you open the cans, you can store the opened cans with a cover in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
However, make sure that you allow the food to reach room temperature before feeding it. This is particularly important for sensitive dogs, as food that is too cold is bad for their digestion!
