FAQ

Liebesgut Tiernahrung has dog food that is labelled "with BIO". What is the difference to organic dog food?

Liebesgut Tiernahrung's entire range is geared towards sustainability and animal welfare. The "organic" label can only be applied to products that come from either organic farming or organic husbandry. However, Liebesgut Tiernahrung has products in its range in which the meat is made from game, i.e. not from animals that come from organic farming. As the food from wild animals cannot be controlled, dog food containing game cannot be labelled as "organic". However, you can be sure that the meat comes from sustainable hunting - so you can feed your dog with a clear conscience.

What is the best way to store opened puppy food?

It is important to store puppy food in a dry and cool place. Once opened, the pet food can be kept well sealed in the fridge for 2-3 days. However, the same applies here as with other foods: always check the consistency and odour! Please leave the tin at room temperature for a while after removing it from the fridge before offering the food to your pet. Only then will it be particularly flavoursome.

Is the puppy food suitable as a complete food?

Yes, the puppy food contains everything a puppy needs for healthy growth. Please note, however, that your puppy may need additional nutrients for certain illnesses, which you may need to add separately. It is best to ask your vet about this.
