What our customers say
Sensitive cat food in premium quality
For cats with special requirements, we offer you our Sensitive line with Sensitive cat food in the best quality: Sensitive cat food is formulated to be particularly easy to digest and can also be eaten by cats with allergies or stomach problems, all with the usual Liebesgut quality. It is particularly important for sensitive cats that the food is free from unnecessary additives, as these can often contribute to stomach problems.
Our Sensitive cat food is guaranteed:
● Free from gluten and wheat
● Free from lactose
● Free from added sugar
● Free from synthetic attractants, colourings and preservatives
● Free from antibiotics
● Free from animal testing
● Free from genetic engineering
Our Sensitive cat food has a particularly high meat content from a single meat source. Cats are so-called "obligate carnivores" and get most of their nutrients from meat. In our Sensitive cat food, we primarily use lean meat such as chicken or rabbit. These meat sources are also less likely to cause intolerances in cats.
We guarantee that the meat it contains is a monoprotein - for example, if it says "rabbit" on the packaging, the food only contains rabbit meat. In addition to meat, our Sensitive cat food contains an increased taurine content and selected plant-based ingredients that are particularly easy to digest. This guarantees that your cat gets everything it needs for a balanced diet without putting too much strain on its digestion.
Sustainable sensitive cat food
We make no compromises with our sensitive cat food. It is not only healthy, but also good for the environment. We source our ingredients from the most sustainable sources possible, for example the meat comes from organic farming or from similarly sustainable sources, such as game from responsible hunting.
We pay attention to animal welfare and strictly reject animal testing and genetic engineering! The plant-based ingredients also come from sustainable cultivation. This means we can guarantee that Sensitiv cat food is free from antibiotics or other additives, which is particularly important for a conscious diet for cats.

FAQ
What is the best way to store opened Sensitiv cat food?
It is important to store the pet food in a dry and cool place. Once opened, the pet food will keep for 2-3 days in a tightly closed tin in the fridge. However, the same applies here as with other foods: always check the consistency and odour!
When you take the cat food out of the fridge, you should leave it at room temperature for half an hour before you feed it, otherwise your cat may refuse to eat it.
What do I need to bear in mind when changing my dog's food?
No matter how good the new food is, cats are creatures of habit. That's why there will probably be a familiarisation phase with Liebesgut's Sensitive cat food, which you should also take into account as much as possible if your cat has known intolerances. If your cat has only ever eaten dry food, you should start by soaking the dry food so that it can get used to the consistency.
After that (or if your cat has already been fed other wet food), you can add more and more Liebesgut cat food with each meal so that your cat gets used to the flavour. If you are making the switch on the advice of a vet, you should follow their recommendations and pay attention to your cat's symptoms.
What is the difference between sensitive cat food and normal cat food?
Sensitive cat food is based on ingredients that are easier to digest overall. There are no differences in quality and both types of cat food are intended as complete food sources. In principle, you can also give your cat sensitive cat food, even if your cat likes to eat normal food.
However, sensitive wet food is intended more as an alternative - if there is no particular reason, it is better for cats to have a balanced diet.
