We therefore recommend that you gradually add the cat food from the Sample Packs to the regular food. The easiest way to do this is if your cat already eats wet food - you can then replace a small amount at first and increase this proportion more and more each day. You can store the Liebesgut cat food covered in the refrigerator - but don't forget to let the food come to room temperature first.
If your cat has only ever had dry food, you should first try softening the dry food with a little water so that your cat can get used to the texture. Then you can gradually change the food here too.

What is the best way to store opened cat food?
It is important to store the pet food in a dry and cool place. Once opened, the pet food will keep for 2-3 days in a tightly closed tin in the fridge. However, the same applies here as with other foods: always check the consistency and odour! When you take the cat food out of the fridge, you should leave it at room temperature for half an hour before you feed it, otherwise your cat may refuse to eat it.
What do I need to bear in mind when changing my dog's food?
No matter how good the new food is, cats are creatures of habit. That's why there will probably also be a familiarisation phase with Liebesgut adult cat food. If your cat has only ever had dry food, you should start by soaking the dry food so that it can get used to the consistency. After that (or if your cat has already had other wet food), you can add more and more Liebesgut cat food with each meal so that your cat gets used to the flavour .
